In order to make production at the new plant in Eschbach near Freiburg more efficient, Losan Pharma GmbH is having its operations certified in accordance with the ISO 50001 energy management system. Compressed air, which is used in the various systems and machines, is a decisive adjusting screw for economical operation. In order for this expensive energy carrier to adapt to permanent load changes and thus avoid cost-intensive idle times, the pharmaceutical company relies on two direct-driven, speed-controlled screw compressors of the VARIABLE series from ALMiG. With the integrated heat recovery, heating costs can also be saved.
