With COMPASS, ALMiG Compressors is launching a new central and innovative service tool that stores everything from the inquiry to the solution in the digital life file of the respective machine. Connected via IoT, the asset relationship management platform ensures complete transparency of the respective compressor - anytime and anywhere. The 24/7 information database is available for the entire station or just a single compressor, depending on the customer's needs, and can be monitored throughout. COMPASS can be easily accessed around the clock on a smartphone or tablet.

"COMPASS gives our customers complete access to all relevant information and live data of their compressed air generation. In doing so, the asset relationship management platform not only serves to manage and monitor all data, but can also proactively ensure improved uptimes, for example through preventive maintenance. By connecting via IoT, we can guarantee immediate benefits for our customers and increase the safety aspect for each production plant from day one," explains Viktor Weber, CEO at ALMiG Kompressoren GmbH.

The digital plant logbook

By means of QR codes on each machine, there is the possibility to manage all asset information anywhere and anytime via smartphone or tablet. Direct requests can be forwarded via COMPASS to the right recipient with status updates. In doing so, each correspondence is included in the asset history of the compressor.

Relevant live cycle information such as service cases, maintenance tasks, current parts and material lists and certificates are permanently available. In addition, the app also bundles central service aspects such as full access to operating instructions or maintenance plans. Through the IoT interface, COMPASS provides real data such as operating hours, and in the future the user can digitally monitor temperature and pressure adjustments in real time using live data. Whether it's one or multiple plants, the dashboard overview can manage the individual site, the entire fleet of plants, and even downstream plants.
