In the food industry, every company must ensure that its produced goods are not contaminated by compressed air containing oil. Staatlich Bad Meinberger in Horn-Bad Meinberg in the northeast of North Rhine-Westphalia therefore relies on three identical 100 percent oil-free water-injected ALMiG screw compressors with water cooling for the production of its mineral beverages. Each compressor is supplied with sufficient cooling water for effective heat dissipation via its own recooling unit installed on the roof of the technical building. The compressed air produced by the three compressors has the highest possible purity class "0" in terms of "oil content" according to ISO 8573-1. The integrated speed control adapts to permanent load changes and thus avoids cost-intensive idle times. With the three plants, Bad Meinberger is prepared for the planned growth in the coming years.
